Amazing view from the restaurant. Friendly family running the place. They also make delicious ice cream, even a goat milk ice cream variety. And the best part is that the restaurant is the start and end of one of the most impressive loop hike on Lake Major. Sitting down for an ice cream and a drink after the hike, with gorgeous views of the lake, was simply heaven.

Nice mountain village based restaurant. Tasty food. Cozy atmosphere. Nice view. Note: the kitchen is not opened all day - only for the regular dining hours. However, you can have appetizers, like meat or a cheese board with house bread which is very nice.

Warm atmosphere and very tasty local cuisine with an amazing view. Particularly appreciated the homemade pasta; the tagliatelle made from chestnut were superb. The service was fast and friendly and the prices were fair.

Outstanding view on the lake, such a superb spot where to stop for a local culinary experience in small or large groups, or for a casual dining at aperitif time , the restaurant features two large dining rooms for indoor receptions and a massive terrasse with tables . The menu offers a wide selection of traditional home made delicacies , from cold cuts to dessert, We especially appreciated the savoir faire of the host who helped us selecting few different dishes to go with their best beers and wines. It’s a dog and kids friendly place and very recommended even for a quick pit stop before or after an hiking around the area just for a refreshment drink :)

A restaurant with a great view of Lago Maggiore in the distance. Reached by a long winding and often narrow road about 10 km inland from Laveno on the east shore of Lago Maggiore. We past several intrepid road cyclers on the way up. An alternative to see the lake from the top of the mountain as the bucket lift in Laveno was closed for a maintenance check due to the previous day's strong hail storm.

Original Italian restaurant Hike up or take your car or take the cable car of Laveno and walk 20min more or less. The service is super friendly. Order the polenta with cheese, but don't be surprised with the cheese quantity. Enjoy the amazing views with an Aperitivo on the benches l.
